Are you a clinical looking to collaborate?

Get in touch if you have a client you think might benefit from mental health occupational therapy (privately or in the public sector). Depending on your client’s goals, I can support you with assessments, referrals, and possibly co-treating.

Are you a student looking for mentorship?

Per the Department of Occupational Therapy, all placements must go through HSPnet. I am unable to supervise or mentor students outside of matched placements. However, I’m always open to talking to potential and current currents about what a career in mental health occupational therapy can look like. Get in touch if you’d like to connect.

Workshops & training

Workshops grounded in how people actually function.

Most workshops on productivity, wellbeing, or team functioning are built on motivational frameworks. Mine are built on occupational therapy science: how energy works, how attention regulates, how executive function holds up under load, and what environments and routines actually support thriving. The result is training your team can use the next morning, not just nod along to.

Workshop

Energy management & burnout prevention

We unpack what energy actually is, why “just rest more” doesn’t work, and how to design realistic recovery into the work week. Combines OT’s sensory and cognitive load frameworks with practical pacing tools.

Best for

Teams stretched thin, post-restructure organizations, or workplaces in high-load environments.

Workshop

Executive function for productivity

We move beyond “try harder” toward how to set up systems, environments, and routines that make planning, prioritizing, and follow-through easier on everyone’s brain.

Best for

Staff or clients who struggle with planning, prioritizing, switching tasks, or follow-through. Including, but not limited to, neurodivergent team members.

Workshop

Goal setting that actually works

Drawing on the OT models of goal setting (COPM, MOHO, and PEO), we work through how to set goals that build motivation rather than guilt, and how to track progress in ways that respect human variability.

Best for

Organizations doing strategic planning, performance review cycles, or programs supporting clients with their own goals.

I also develop custom workshops for specific contexts. In the past I’ve developed an online course around trauma informed care practices for settlement practitioners and an online course around community inclusion and wellbeing for Edmonton’s Community Leagues.

I’ve also completed a two-year teaching fellowship at the University of Alberta, where I received a graduate student teaching awarded for excellence in teaching undergraduate students.

So whether you’re a clinic team integrating trauma-informed practice, a non-profit building inclusive programming or an organization looking to better manage it’s productivity, I can help. If your team has a need I haven’t named here, send me a note and we’ll shape something together.
